Sheffield Wednesday fans have had a tough campaign this season but they'll be buoyed by the latest news coming out of the club.

Certainly, it's not been the best season the club has ever had but they're not going to go down and they can now look to finish strongly and build for 2018/19.

As a boost to that, then, Fernando Forestieri is set for his return to action with him starting for the U23 side later this afternoon for the club.

The forward has been out of action for most of the season with a lengthy injury but he's certainly close to a return to the first team now - providing all goes well this afternoon.
