Sheffield Wednesday are eyeing a loan move for Manchester United defender Reece James, according to the Daily Mail.
James, 21, is also a target for Championship duo Fulham and Huddersfield Town, with the United defender set to be shipped out on loan to gain some first-team experience.
The 21-year-old is seemingly not in the first-team plans of Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal, so it makes sense for the defender to join a club on loan.
James has had a spell at Sky Bet Championship outfit Rotherham United this season, making a total of seven appearances during his spell there.
The defender also had a loan spell at Carlisle United in 2013, where he only managed to accumulate one appearance.
The Lancashire-born defender will add another defensive option to any club the signs him, and it’ll enable James to attain much-needed first-team experience at Championship level.
A spell away at a Championship club could be exactly what James needs to develop and mature as a professional footballer.
