Zeefuik, 24, is a Dutch striker who plies his trade for FC Groningen in the Eredivisie in Holland.

The Dutchman is expected to leave the club this summer, and Sky Bet Championship side Sheffield Wednesday are considering making a move.

The 5ft 11 striker has only played his football in Holland, and he started his career at Ajax, where he spent six years. The striker has also played for PSV, Omniworld, Dordrecht and NEC, before moving to FC Groningen in 2012.

Zeefuik has amassed 40 appearances for his current side and has scored seven goals during that time.

The 24-year-old would be their fourth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Ryan Croasdale, Keiren Westwood and Sam Hutchinson.
