Sheffield Wednesday were humbled by South Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United on Wednesday night - falling to an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at the New York Stadium.
Garry Monk would have been desperate for a response following the Hillsborough losses to both Brentford and Luton Town, but the Owls produced the complete opposite as they suffered their heaviest defeat since the first game back after lockdown.
As a result, the Owls remain rock-bottom of the Championship table and are still nine points from safety ahead of a crunch visit to winless Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
However, Wednesday will be without defender Tom Lees for the game at Adams Park after the defender was given a straight red card against Rotherham last night and will therefore serve a one-match suspension, the club have confirmed.
Lees dismissal compounded a miserable opening 45 minutes for Monk's side, who found themselves 3-0 down and one man down after Jamie Lindsay scored either side of Daniel Barlaser's penalty.

The Verdict
This is just another problem that Monk simply didn't need.
Wednesday are already without centre-back Joost van Aken for the next two matches after his sending off in the Luton defeat, and now Lees is also unavailable for what is a crucial match at the bottom of the Championship table.
With Massimo Luongo, Liam Shaw and Aden Flint all also expected to miss out, it's becoming a crisis for the under-pressure Owls boss.
