Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed the signing of winger, Kadeem Harris on a free transfer.

Harris has been a free agent since he left Cardiff City at the end of last season, and has wasted no time in finding a new club for the upcoming league campaign.

He made 15 appearances for the Bluebirds in the Premier League, and put in some impressive displays that have caught the eye.

Harris has played at Championship level before, making 54 appearances for Cardiff, although he has struggled with injuries in recent years.

The 26-year-old has been training with Sheffield Wednesday ahead of pre-season, and he'll be hoping to adjust to his new surroundings quickly so that he can play his part for Steve Bruce's side next term.

It remains to be seen as to how much longer Bruce will be in charge at Hillsborough though, with Sky Sports reporting that the Owls boss is wanted by Newcastle United.

Bruce has been impressive since he took charge of Sheffield Wednesday, as he guided them to a 12th place finish in the Championship last season.

The Verdict:

This is a really good signing by Sheffield Wednesday in my opinion.

Harris showed real quality for Cardiff in the Premier League last season, and I'm surprised that he didn't sign a new deal with the Bluebirds.

He offers pace and trickery going forward, and is the game-changer that Steve Bruce's side have been needing in recent months.

If he can adjust to life back in the Championship quickly, then the Owls will have a fantastic player on their hands.
