According to HITC Sport, interest is high in the Portuguese forward and Hull City, Sheffield Wednesday and Brighton and Hove Albion are all leading the chase.

The striker who scored the winning goal in the 2012/13 play-off final for West Ham United against Blackpool has second tier experience in abundance having played for Barnsley, Bolton and the Hammers at that level.

Vaz Te would represent a coup for any Championship club and it is little surprise that so many clubs are interested in securing the player.

Vaz Te is a free agent after spending the last six months playing in Turkey for Akhisar Belediyespor and is said to be keen on a return to English football.

He scored five goals in 14 games in the Turkish top-flight but is now set to have the choice between around half-a-dozen Championship sides as his next club.

Vaz Te was renowned for his flair and ability to beat a man down the flank, and his style of play proved to be very effective in the Championship - so he would no doubt be able to adapt to the demands and rigours of the division if he came back.
