Sheffield United take on Preston at Bramall Lane on Saturday, with Chris Wilder's men looking to get back to winning ways.

One point from their last two games has halted what had been a very good start from the Blades, and they know they need to do all they can to maintain the pace with the leaders at the top.

For Preston, the situation is more alarming, even at this early stage of the season. Alex Neil's men have won just once and sit 23rd in the Championship.

Therefore, many might expect this to be a routine home victory, however, as our statpack shows, North End have been competitive this season.

They have been having more shots, possession and dribbles than the Yorkshire side, but unfortunately they have let themselves down in both boxes.

However, Neil will take encouragement from the way his side have played and will be confident of picking up all three points, despite the Blades finding themselves in the play-off mix.

As you can see, we should get two contrasting formations on display, with the hosts going with a back three, whilst North End play a 4-2-3-1.

And, that battle down the flanks could be decisive on the day.

Enda Stevens and George Baldock will look to push forward at every opportunity but that could leave space for Tom Barkhuizen and Callum Robinson to exploit.

Whether they manage to provide a threat on the counter, instead of dropping deeper and deeper to deal with the wing-backs, could be vital in determining the outcome.

Meanwhile, limiting the impact of John Fleck and Oliver Norwood in the middle of the park will be a priority for Neil and Preston.

Ultimately, it promises to be a good game between two decent sides at Bramall Lane, with both playing on the front foot, looking for three points.
