Sheffield United are set to make a shock move for former Leeds United winger Aidy White, according to the Sun.
The former Leeds man was released by Uwe Rosler’s men at the end of the season, after he only amassed one substitute performance for them during the entire season, on the final day, following an ankle injury in pre-season.
The 23-year-old has since been linked with moves to Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United, as well as Doncaster Rovers, where he could link up with Paul Dickov again. Now he’s been linked with Nigel Adkins’ Sheffield United, who will hope to be the first to his signature.
White moved to Bramall Lane in 2013 on a loan spell but had his stay cut short due to injury problems, and the left winger has apparently been offered a contract by Steve Evans, but the Blades are hoping they can succeed in a late bid for their man.
