There's a real feel-good factor about Sheffield United at the moment and you can certainly understand why that is the case right now.

Coming into the season after being promoted from League 1, many would have probably just wanted to see their side finish comfortably mid-table.

Instead, though, the men from Bramall Lane are absolutely flying at the moment and, after beating Sheffield Wednesday and Wolves, they now lie second in the table.

For sure, then, fans are dreaming about another promotion at the moment and it looks as though David Brooks has got something else to dream about with him potentially playing for Wales for the first time in the next set of internatonals.

Indeed, the midfielder has been called-up by Chris Coleman to cap off what has been a superb few weeks for him and United hero Billy Sharp has taken to Twitter to send out this classy message:

For sure, it's been a great time recently for Brooks with him tearing things up in the Steel City Derby and he'll certainly be looking forward to perhaps getting minutes next month for Wales.

The Verdict

Brooks has been top drawer recently and he would deserve to play for the Welsh national side if Coleman decides to bring him on or start him.

And, with players like Billy Sharp in the dressing room willing him on with everything he does, there's no telling just how far the young star could go.
