Sheffield United skipper has taken to social media to break his silence and share some thoughts following the Blades’ 3-3 draw with Aston Villa last night.
The Blades skipper had seemingly given the Blades all three points with a poachers style hat-trick, his 20th, 21st, and 22nd goals of the season which also took him over the 100 goals for United mark in the process.
However, Sharp’s efforts were in vain in the end and the skipper was visibly upset following the game last night despite winning the man of the match award.
Sharp though has moved to deliver a positive and leading message today, taking to Twitter to air his disappointment but also remanining positive about what the rest of the season could have in store for the Sheffield club.
Still can’t believe we didn’t get the win, fair play to villa for fighting back.
We will stick together, and get stronger as a group to keep pushing for promotion for this great club ????⚪️⚫️⚔️⚽️ pic.twitter.com/DZ8laqatm8

The striker is a massive favourite amongst fans at Bramall Lane and they will be hoping that Sharp and his teammates do indeed bounce back in the coming weeks and maintain the pressure on the likes of Norwich and Leeds at the top of the division.
This sort of stuff sums Sharp up really and what makes him such a good leader at Bramall Lane.
Sure he is disappointed, but it’s a measured and thought out response to the game and he remains positive, something his teammates will be delighted to see.
United are still flying high, and they have every chance of sealing promotion if they can continue their excellent form thus far.
