Sheffield United are in a very good place right now and look set to pose a real promotion push throughout the rest of the campaign.

A 1-0 win against Queens Park Rangers on Saturday was enough to see them climb above Norwich City into second place on goal difference.

The Blades show no signs of slowing down either, with Chris Wilder's side continuing to play out of their skin week in week out and continue to win convincingly.

The 1-0 win against the Rs was the clubs fourth in a row and their third clean sheet in a row as well.

In a league where many teams around the top are showing signs of stuttering, Wilder's approach continues to work a charm.

But that does not mean they do not need to add more than Gary Madine to their side in the January transfer window and one player they should look to bring in recently left Bramall Lane.

Who?

Ben Whiteman has been in inspired form for Doncaster Rovers so far this season.

Since signing from the Blades permanently just over a year ago, Whiteman has proven to be a terrific operator in League One, scoring three and assisting five more this season alone for Grant McCann's side.

As far as the starting XI goes, Sheffield United are reasonably well stocked in each position, but bringing in a player of the 22-year-old's quality to compete with the likes of Paul Coutts, Mark Duffy and John Fleck could give an even bigger spring in their step.
