Sheffield United will look to have a good summer in the transfer market as manager Chris Wilder seeks to build on an excellent first season back in the Championship last year.

Wilder, who this week completed the signing of Man United stopper Dean Henderson, will no doubt already have his eye cast over potential targets, and he will know exactly what positions he needs to strengthen in.

The Blades fans will also be looking to Wilder to see what moves he makes, but we at FLW think that we have a pretty good idea of the type of player the club needs to make a move for.

One player who we think would be a solid addition for United is Ipswich Town left back Jonas Knudsen, who was a more or less ever present last term for Mick McCarthy's men, delivering consistent performances in a vital position.

Knudsen racked up an impressive seven assists too, a useful contribution from left back.

United do already have Enda Stevens in the left wing back role at Bramall Lane, and despite his impressive first season for the club last time out, there is a feeling within the club that they could well do with another in the position to offer competition or even replace Stevens.

Knudsen is a solid Championship player now, and should be well within any budget constraints Wilder will have. An excellent signing for a club like United if they wish to continue pushing for top six places.

Blades fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know!
