Sheffield United should look to complete a move for this out of contract Premier League winger

Sheffield United have already begun preparations for life in the Championship by making some early forays into the transfer market.

The additions of Enda Stevens, Ched Evans, and Nathan Thomas have already added some more depth to the squad which romped to the League One title this year.

However, more will be needed if the Blades are going to compete and do more than simply stay up next season, and this will no doubt mean more signings.

One player we think could do an excellent job for the Blades is now former Southampton winger Lloyd Isgrove, who has recently been released from his contract.

The tricky little winger was excellent during a loan spell with fellow Yorkshire club Barnsley a few seasons back, helping them to promotion back to the Championship, and he could definitely add something to the ranks at the Lane.

Chris Wilder is a keen advocate of signing players with a point to prove and who want to buy into his team ethos, and Isgrove is certainly someone who might well fit that mould.

With United looking to consolidate their position in the Championship next year, experience and class like Isgrove’s could be a key factor for them, and he would look to be an excellent signing should they make a move for him.

Blades fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know!
