Sheffield United set to move for ex-Bristol City midfielder?

New Sheffield United boss Nigel Adkins is keen on the services of former Millwall and Bristol City winger Martyn Woolford, according to The Star.
The 29-year-old is currently a free agent after he was released by Millwall following their relegation from the Sky Bet Championship last season.
Woolford was close to a move last January on deadline day with Leeds reportedly making an approach for the winger, however, Millwall boss at the time Ian Holloway rejected the approach before Neil Harris his successor deemed the Castleford born player surplus to requirements.
Sheffield United are the bookies favourites for promotion to the Sky Bet Championship next season and Adkins will be attempting to return to the second tier of English football following their relegation in 2011.
They have failed to return through the play-offs losing three years in a row and although making the play-offs in addition to some impressive cup runs, manager Nigel Clough was sacked on the 25th May 2015 with Adkins taking over on the 2nd of June.
