The buzz from Billy Sharp's last minute winner against Norwich City at the weekend is only just starting to fade, as the Blades prepare for their next match against Bolton on Saturday.

It gave Sheffield United back-to-back wins following on from their victory at Queens Park Rangers, after losing their first two matches to Swansea City and Middlesbrough.

It has brought a real sense of optimism that the club could be capable of achieving something this season, after an impressive return to the second-tier saw them finish 10th last year.

There have been plenty of goings on around the club, so let's have a recap of the major talking points surrounding the Blades.

A love in for Billy

After his last minute winner in front of the Bramall Lane kop, Sheffield United fans shared their love for the striker, who has been so vital to their recent success.

Here is what they had to say after the goal went in...

Priced out of a move

It was also revealed by journalist Alan Nixon that Sheffield United would not be able to afford Southampton striker Sam Gallagher.

When Nixon was asked if they could afford the Saints youngster, he answered with a blunt, "no."

A swoop for Championship striker?

A big target has also emerged for the Blades with Chris Wilder reportedly very keen to bring in out of favour Aston Villa striker, Scott Hogan, for the season.

United are even willing to pay the striker £35k-a-week to try and persuade him to make the move to South Yorkshire.
