The Telegraph is reporting that Ronald Koeman’s Everton are showing an interest in Sheffield United starlet David Brooks and could make a swoop this transfer window.
The Blades teenager is highly-rated at Bramall Lane since making his debut under Chris Wilder in the goalless draw to Leicester City in the EFL Trophy.
Having initially arrived at Sheffield United in the summer of 2013 following his release by Manchester City, Brooks remains without a league match under his belt despite gaining interest from the top-flight.
The 19-year-old midfielder has recently added international experience to his game after being named in the England under-20 squad for the infamous Toulon Tournament, rippling the net in the final against Scotland.
David Brooks also enjoyed a two-month loan stint at FC Halifax Town during his short career so far, featuring in five outings for the non-league outfit during the 2015/16 term.
A transfer that could happen in the opposite direction is veteran centre-back Phil Jagielka making a return to Yorkshire as he becomes seemingly surplus to requirements at Goodison Park.
