Sheffield United have a huge game on the agenda this weekend as they face Norwich City with both harbouring real top two chances this season.

Both have fine goal-scoring ability and both are up for a scrap, too, so this should be a fine game full of goals and competitive challenges.

It remains to be seen who emerges victorious, then, but in the meantime, the Blades have found time to let one of their younger players leave the club.

Indeed, Jordan Hallam has moved to Scunthorpe United on a permanent basis, the club has revealed:

A striker that will be itching to kickstart his career, he is joining an Iron team that has made plenty of signings this window.

The likes of Kevin van Veen and Adam Hammill have joined the club among others and so he'll be eager to try and force himself into Stuart McCall's plans too.

The Verdict

Hallam is a player with potential but he now needs to be playing first-team football.

Clearly, at Bramall Lane that wasn't going to happen and so this is a move that makes sense for him.

He'll be looking to settle quickly, then, as Scunthorpe look to climb the table in the second half of the season.
