Sheffield United and Norwich are both interested in making a move for Liverpool youngster Ben Woodburn, according to a report by the Pink Un.

The Welsh forward is set to leave Anfield this summer on a short term deal as he looks to gain some valuable first team experience, and both Chris Wilder and Daniel Farke are big fans of the youngster, with both hoping to land a deal for Woodburn in the coming weeks.

Woodburn is highly thought of at Anfield, and at 18, has plenty of time to develop and hone his craft before being thrust into the Premier League limelight on a permanent basis.

However, first team football is going to be a must for the youngster, and a move to either of the Championship promotion hopefuls wil no doubt do him the world of good.

Woodburn is the youngest ever scorer for Liverpool, as well as being the second youngest scorer for Wales. His reputation has been growing ever since he burst onto the scene two seasons back, however, with the likes of Mo Salah and Sadio Mane excelling for the Reds, he has found first team chances hard to come by.

Sheffield United are looking to add new forwards to their squad following the sale of David Brooks, while Norwich are looking for improvements in general following a bitterly disappointing season last time out.

Blades, Canaries, what do you make of Woodburn? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
