Many West Bromwich Albion supporters have been debating over which goal they believe was the best one scored by the club over the course of the last decade.

The decade began with West Brom battling it for promotion from the Championship, with the Baggies finishing second in the 2009/10 season under Roberto Di Matteo to claim their place in the Premier League, which is something that Slaven Bilic's side will be aiming to repeat this season after a strong start.

The Baggies have enjoyed many standout moments over the last ten years, which saw them establish themselves in the Premier League for an eight-year spell which was brought to an end by their relegation from the English top flight at the end of the 2017/18 season.

West Brom registered many fine individual and team goals over the course of the last decade, and some supporters have pointed out recent examples, such as Dwight Gayle's turn and finish in the Baggies' 2-1 win against Stoke City at the Hawthorns at the start of last season, as a contender for the best goal of the decade.

Some fans have even offered a mention to the wonderful free kick scored by Matheus Pereira during the Baggies' 4-1 win against Bristol City a few weeks ago, as a potential late candidate for the club's finest goal scored during the last ten years.

There have been some other less recent examples, which have included mentions for Gary Gardner's excellent long range effort in a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace back in April 2015, while Shane Long's fine effort after picking the ball out of the sky against Aston Villa and Salomon Rondon's volley against Southampton have also been suggested amongst many others.

Here then, we take a look at what West Brom fans have had to say about the club's goal of the decade on social media...
