Sunderland continue to fly high in League One after 11 games and that is largely thanks to the personnel brought in over the summer throughout the club. 

Jack Ross has come in to manage the Black Cats whilst a host of new faces arrived to revitalised what seemed to be a cursed squad after the previous few years.

One of those signed was Hibernian midfielder Dylan McGeouch who arrived at the club as a free transfer and his arrival was a real coup at the time.

He has become a key member of Ross's side so far this season starting seven of the club's league matches despite missing the first three due to injury.

But the player has split opinion amongst the fans with many criticising him for not showing up in matches.

When the club released footage of him scoring a beauty in training it reignited the debate once again.
