It took until deadline day but Leeds United eventually got in the striker they chased all January in West Bromwich Albion's Tyler Roberts. 

The arrival of Roberts pushes Leeds' young stars further down the pecking order so from that point of view it is little surprise that the club have also confirmed a departure now that the window has passed, announcing on their official website that young forward Eoghan Stokes has left the club via mutual consent.

The striker only made one first team appearance during his time at Elland Road, in the 5-1 EFL Cup thrashing of Newport County - who got their revenge by dumping Leeds out of the FA Cup at the third round stage last month - back in August.

It does not look as if Stokes has joined another club and he looks set to become a free agent, free to make a transfer outside of the confines of the transfer window and Leeds fans took to Twitter to react to the news.
