Leeds United suffered their first defeat of pre-season on Wednesday afternoon, losing 4-0 to Premier League giants Manchester United over in Australia.

After defeating local sides York City and Guiseley last week, the Yorkshire club took their pre-season schedule to another level, jetting out to Australia to face one of their most fiercest rivals.

Marcelo Bielsa fielded a strong team to face the Red Devils, with the likes of Pablo Hernandez, Kemar Roofe and Kalvin Phillips all featuring from the off.

But the gulf in class showed in the end, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side brushing aside the Whites by four goals to nil thanks to goals from Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, Phil Jones and Anthony Martial.

Very little can be taken out of the match result, but Bielsa would have learned a lot of lessons about his side after playing against their toughest opposition in pre-season thus far.
