Bolton Wanderers remain bottom of the League One table after they were thrashed 5-1 by Lincoln City on Tuesday evening.

Harry Anderson headed the home side in front, before Ronan Darcy equalised for the Trotters to give the travelling supporters something to shout about.

Tyler Walker then put the Imps back in front just after the hour mark, but Bolton crumbled in dramatic fashion in the final five minutes of the game.

Joe Morrell fired past Remi Matthews, before a brace from John Akinde in the space of four minutes saw the Trotters head home disappointed.

Bolton are rooted to the bottom of the third tier standings, and are 17 points adrift of safety in League One, and some supporters would be forgiven for thinking that they should be planning for life in League Two next season.

Plenty of Bolton Wanderers supporters took to social media to issue their thoughts after this heavy defeat to the Imps.
