Bristol City ended an eight game consecutive losing streak to earn a hard fought point against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.

They twice came from behind to draw 2-2 against the Championship high flyers and every point is vital now for Lee Johnson's side as they aim to battle relegation.

The season started so brightly; Bristol City shocked everyone to sit pretty in the play-off spots but this soon turned to disaster as the Robins were unable to halt their free fall down the league.

But Lee Johnson knows that he still has a squad with plenty of players capable of shining in the Championship and they will be hopeful that the club will end this year comfortably clear of the relegation zone.

There are not many "stars" in this Bristol City team - just hardworking and underrated performers.

Here are 2 of Bristol City's best players who do not receive fair recognition from pundits.

Joe Bryan

Joe Bryan is arguably one of Bristol City's best players.

The versatile player can operate at left back, left wing back, central midfield or as a left winger.

This makes him a very useful asset for Bristol City and he always puts in a solid shift.

Bobby Reid

Bobby Reid needs more of a run in midfield as he has shown glimpses of his talent.

A tidy and composed central midfielder with an eye for a spectacular long range goal, Reid just needs to bulk up a bit and he'll be the real deal.

At the age of 23, though, he is showing signs of maturity beyond his years and is not rated as highly as he perhaps should be.
