Brentford winger Sergi Canos has shared an update with fans as he continues his recovery from a serious knee injury suffered against Nottingham Forest earlier in the campaign.
It was reported by the club at the time that the knee injury would keep the Spaniard out for a significant period of time but he was back in the gym again on Wednesday working on his fitness.

Writing alongside a photo of himself on his Instagram story, Canos said, “Another day”, whilst he appeared to stretch out his knee in front of the mirror.
Prior to his set-back, Canos had been an ever present in Thomas Frank’s side, providing three assists in 11 games but has since been admirably replaced by summer-signing Bryan Mbeumo since.
The 20-year-old made the move to West London from French side Troyes and has netted eight goals in 20 appearances already, laying on five more assists for his teammates as well.
The Bees moved into their highest place in the Championship so far this season thanks to a 1-0 win in their West London derby against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
Mbeumo grabbed the winner on the day and he will be looking to notch for the fifth successive game against West Brom on Saturday afternoon.
It will be hugely encouraging to Brentford fans to see Canos progressing the way he is.
He is likely still a good distance away from making a return to the pitch but having him return for even the final few months of the season could prove the difference in what looks set to be a tight play-off race.
