Norwich City have swooped to sign Jordan Hugill on a permanent deal, with the striker signing from West Ham United.

Daniel Farke has done some intense work on his squad this summer, with Hugill the latest fresh face through the door at Carrow Road.

An announcement has come from Norwich’s official accounts today confirming Hugill’s arrival on a permanent deal, with the 28-year-old agreeing a three-year contract with the club.

Quiz: Can you name where each of these 14 ex-Norwich City players are playing now?

Hugill was on loan in the Championship last season and posted some excellent numbers for Mark Warburton’s side. He scored 15 goals in all competitions, with 13 of those coming in the league as the R’s finished mid-table.

The former West Ham and Preston North End striker now links up with an attack still including Teemu Pukki, who top scored in the Championship in 2018/19 and found double figures last year in the Premier League.

As expected, the excitement following this transfer has been bubbling away amongst the Norwich fans…
