Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa provided fans with a real boost ahead of the weekend clash with Millwall, when he announced at his pre-match press conference (12.50pm) that Kemar Roofe should be available for selection for the trip to Birmingham in just over a week.

The club's leading goalscorer has been sidelined for the last seven weeks and missed six matches with a knee ligament injury, that he suffered during last month's 2-1 win over Swansea City.

So is the return of Roofe, good news for Leeds?

We discuss........

Sam Rourke

"It's a huge boost.

"Leeds have clearly missed Roofe's goalscoring touch in recent weeks, with Bamford struggling to really get firing up top for the Whites.

"His return is crucial to Leeds' promotion chances.

Alfie Burns

“For me, it is going to be an uphill battle for Leeds to get back in the top-two from here, so Marcelo Bielsa is going to need his top goalscorer.

“Roofe’s worked incredibly hard to get himself fit this quickly and his return will lift everyone at Birmingham next weekend.

“You’ve just got to hope he can pick up where he left off.”

Jay Taylor

“Sensational news for Leeds.

“They now have a time frame on his return and can plan accordingly.

“Knowing when he will be back for the final six or so matches is a godsend for the Elland Road outfit.

“It will certainly give them a boost from now until then.”
