31-year-old Albert Adomah joined Nottingham Forest in the summer on a free transfer from Aston Villa and is enjoying being one of the experienced players in the squad.

Nottingham Forest can go back to the top of the Championship with a win against Brentford at the weekend and wide man Albert Adomah is ready to help his team achieve that. The new Forest winger is proving to be popular with the fans so far and he told the Nottingham Post that there could be a lot more to come from him this season.

Speaking to the Nottingham Post, he said: "It's good to be a senior player. When you're young people say you need that experience but to get it you need to play and I'm happy I've got that experience.

"We've got Ben Watson, Daws (Michael Dawson), Grabbs (Lewis Grabban) and they all help the younger players.

"I'm enjoying every moment as it comes whether I'm in the team or one the bench.

"I try to take my chance but it doesn't matter who is playing. That's what the manager has tried to implement - be ready for every challenge.

"It's good to have a relationship with fans. If you're performing they'll take to you.

"At the moment I'm doing alright. The fans have taken to everyone and shown me good hospitality.

"I can't complain. When you put that red shirt on you want to express yourself.

"I don't want to get ahead of myself. I'm here to achieve one thing and it would be nice to get a triple promotion on my CV."

Albert Adomah was a part of the Aston Villa side that achieved promotion under Dean Smith last season and Adomah wants to try and take Nottingham Forest to that next level as well.

Adomah has notched two goals in ten games so far this season, already having an important impact on the team and results, with plenty of promotion experience behind him, Nottingham Forest fans will hope he can take them to the Premier League.

The Verdict

Albert Adomah is a top Championship player on his day and can frighten any full back with his pace, trickery and strength.

Adomah has played a key part in two Championship promotions already in his career with Middlesbrough and Aston Villa, so Reds fans will be hoping for him to add another promotion to his collection.
