A number of Millwall supporters have been reacting to the latest report from London News Online that the Lions have opened talks with star man Jed Wallace over a new potential deal.

Wallace has once again been in fine for Gary Rowett’s side this season in the Championship, with the attacker having managed to register nine goals and five assists in his 40 league appearances so far this term. That means that combined with his tally of ten goals and 13 assists last term he has now fired in 19 goals and 18 assists for Millwall since the start of last season.

That is a tally that can be bettered by few players during that period and it has marked Wallace out as one of the best-attacking players in the division. The attacker is still under contract with the Lions for a further 15 months, but at the start of next season, he will be entering into the final year of his existing deal which could make the Lions vulnerable to losing him.
