Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has defended the club's decision to go on a post-season tour to Myanmar despite calls for the club to cancel the trip.

The Whites announced yesterday that they would be heading to the Southeast Asian nation just days after the Championship season had ended and would play two fixtures.

However, given the serious issues with the Myanmar government and it's people, many fans were angered that Leeds intended to play games there.

Yet, Radrizzani revealed in an open letter that he believes Leeds' presence will be a positive for the country.

"I believe the tour will have a positive impact on the local community in parts of the country we intend to visit. This was a carefully considered decision and we knew it would be controversial, but this is about people not governments."

But, that still hasn't convinced all fans that the club are making the right decision, although some did agree with him.

Here's how they reacted to his message on twitter...
