Cardiff City signed Aden Flint from Middlesbrough in the summer.

Flint, 30, joined his third Championship club in as many seasons last summer, signing for Neil Warnock's Cardiff worth over £5 million.

He's played 26 times in the Championship for his new side this season, scoring three, but he's not featured in the league since the 6-1 defeat to QPR on New Year's Day.

Sean Morrison and Curtis Nelson have been the preferred centre-back pairing of late, and Flint looks set to play back-up for the rest of the campaign.

Flint made his name at Bristol City. He was predominantly a midfield player for the Robins, and a goal-scoring one at that - he managed 38 goals in five seasons at Ashton Gate, scoring 14 in the 2014/15 League One season when they were promoted as champions.

He's since become more of a central defender though, and having been solid for Middlesbrough last year, was brought to South Wales.

Cardiff fans of the Facebook group 'Only One Cardiff City' discussed Flint's omission from Neil Harris' side, and here's what they had to say:

Gerwyn Griffiths: Doesn't seem long ago everyone was criticising Morrison. We are indeed a fickle bunch.

Ian Williams: Sell, sell, sell.

Rhys Williams: He's decent in the box from set pieces. That's about it.

Lloyd Costigan: Nowhere near worth £6 mil.

Rhys Williams (replying to above): Middlesbrough laughed all the way to the bank.

Lee Harris: More negativity about our players wow.

Jack Lewis: Class striker Paterson you are getting challenged.
