Life under Mark Bowen at Reading is going pretty well as we approach the January transfer window and fans will be looking forward to seeing what he has up his sleeve.
The Royals currently sit in 17th place, five points clear of the drop zone and ten behind the current play-off pace-setters but with a game in hand on all those who sit above them.
However, on Monday it was news of a transfer departure that emerged for the club rather than a positive incoming, with English giants Manchester United plotting a move for young striker Danny Loader, according to Sky Sports News.

Loader has been the subject of speculation before but never from such high places.
The 19-year-old has made just four appearances so far this season but is yet to find the back of the net, although he has notched three in two for the reserves.
The reaction to the news from Reading fans has been rather interesting, and here is what they had to say…
Does any1 else understand this? Hes absolutely terrible. Are we missing something here? He can go man utd and it will be absolutely no loss to reading at all

Dont get the hype to be honest!?
— Ben Chaffey (@benchaffey) November 18, 2019
Sell him. He hasn’t lived up to the hype. Not convinced by his attitude either. He should take a leaf out of Baldock’s book regarding attitude and getting (back) in to the first XI.

Clearly doesn’t want to be there, wouldn’t be too bothered if he went based on what we already have in that position

No loss. Done nothing to warrant a regular start. Get the money while clubs rate him.

I think it is a loss yes. For one it continues a trend where our young players dont get a real chance to play for us. It's always been a reasonable decision at the time but we seem to let a lot of academy products go before we see the best of them. Contrast that with Birmingham.

If we can get him to sign, be silly not to, kids clearly talented, but if not then he goes in January
