According to reports from the Daily Mail, Stoke City are in talks with Aston Villa over the potential season-long loan signing of striker Scott Hogan.

The Potters have been extremely busy in the transfer window this summer, with Millwall forward Lee Gregory arriving at the bet365 Stadium to provide the likes of Benik Afobe and Sam Vokes with competition up top.

But it now looks as if another forward could be set to arrive in Staffordshire, in the form of Aston Villa striker Scott Hogan who has fallen out of favour at Villa Park.

The 27-year-old netted 21 goals in 36 games for Brentford before his move to Villa, but has since scored just 10 goals in 61 games for Dean Smith's side.

He spent the second half of last season on loan with Sheffield United, finding the back of the net just twice in a total of eight appearances for the Blades, as Chris Wilder's side won promotion to the Premier League.

Hogan will now be hoping for a fresh start, with a potential move to the Potters now in the pipeline.

Here, we take a look at how Stoke fans have reacted to this news...
