Sheffield United are back in action this lunchtime, with Chris Wilder’s side taking on Nottingham Forest in the Championship’s early kick-off.  

Over the course of the last two games the Blades have dropped four points, subsequently handing Leeds United a massive boost in the race for automatic promotion.

Today, they can put the pressure back on Leeds when they face Forest, although they will have to win without key personnel.

John Egan is suspended, whilst Wilder will be without Chris Basham and skipper Billy Sharp, who both picked up injuries in last weekend’s draw with Millwall.

Sharp is the club’s top goalscorer this season and has been spearheading the Blades’ push for promotion, with his loss a big one.

Nevertheless, the skipper is leading from the front still, taking to Twitter to issue a rally call ahead of the meeting with Forest.
