Barnsley's promotion hopes were dealt a cruel blow this week, as it emerged that Kieffer Moore is to be ruled out for the remainder of the season on medical advice.

The in-form forward suffered a nasty blow to the head in a collision with Gabriel Zakuani in early February and he hasn't featured since.

But it was revealed that Moore was to miss the rest of this year's campaign on medical advice, and he'll be hoping to focus purely on his recovery now.

Moore had been in excellent form for the Tykes and had 16 goals to his name in League One this season and was one of the main reasons as to why Daniel Stendel's side were looking on course for an immediate return to the Championship.
