Plenty of Ipswich Town fans have taken to Twitter to react to their side's 1-0 defeat to Fleetwood Town at Portman Road.

After losing their last two League One fixtures to Oxford United and Blackpool, the Tractor Boys would have wanting to prove a point to their supporters last night against the Trawlermen.

However, despite Ipswich manager Paul Lambert making a host of changes to his starting eleven for this fixture, his side ultimately failed to deliver the goods.

Following a relatively slow start to the clash by both teams, Fleetwood took the lead in the 40th minute as Ched Evans netted his ninth goal of the season.

Although the Tractor Boys improved in the second-half, they were unable to level up proceedings despite efforts from Tyreece Simpson and Jon Nolan.

As a result of this defeat, Ipswich are now six points adrift of the play-off places in League One.
