Scottish Premiership side Celtic have joined the race for Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw, according to the Mirror.
The Glasgow giants had scouts watching the 23-year-old in Walsall’s 1-0 win over Brentford in the FA Cup on Saturday, while Sky Bet Championship sides Reading and Huddersfield Town also had representatives in attendance at Griffin Park.
Bradshaw, who is rated at around £500,000, has caught the eye this season after hitting 12 goals in 25 games for Walsall, and the Mirror understands that the Saddlers have received a bid from an unnamed Championship club.
The Royals are the on the lookout for a new striker following the sale of Nick Blackman to Derby County this week, while Huddersfield are keen to add some firepower to their squad having let James Vaughan end the rest of the season at Birmingham City.
Birmingham City and Rangers are also keeping tabs on the former Wales Under-21 international, but it is Simon Grayson’s Preston North End who are believed to be the frontrunners to land the former Shrewsbury striker.
Walsall are doing well in League One this season, currently sitting in third place and just two points off second-place Gillingham and three off leaders Burton Albion.
Sean O’Driscoll’s side face Coventry City on Tuesday night, who are just one place below them in the league.
