Kilmarnock boss Lee Clark has told the press that he is interested in bringing in a trio of Newcastle youngsters, the Daily Record have reported.

Clark is preparing to revamp his squad in the January window ahead of the second half of the season and he is very interested in bringing in players from his former club, Newcastle United.

The players on the receiving end of interest are goalkeeper Freddie Woodman, midfielder Callum Roberts and forward Sean Longstaff.

All three of the youngsters are yet to feature in a professional game this season due to the massively impressive performances that the Magpies have displayed this campaign.

But they have been regular starters in the Premier League 2 division where Sean Longstaff has particularly stood out, scoring 6 goals in just 10 games.

The Newcastle trio could do with a loan move away from St James Park in order to gain some well needed match experience to further their professional careers.

Whilst Kilmarnock could also do with some reinforcements to push them up the table in order to give themselves some breathing space from the relegation places.

Newcastle fans… Do you think these three players would benefit from spending time in Scotland? Do you see any of them in your future plans? Have your say in the comments down below!
