Scott Parker has stated that despite Stoke's league position, they will be a difficult test for his Fulham side on Saturday.

Stoke have won just one game this season, although that did come in their last outing when they won away at highly-rated Swansea City.

That might be the result to really kick-start the season for Nathan Jones' side as they look to climb up the league and out of the relegation zone.

Fulham, on the other hand, have been impressive of late and are scoring a number of goals past their opposition as they look for an immediate return to the Premier League.

Parker has stated that Stoke will be a tough test for their side, and there will be times when they must weather the storm on Saturday.

Speaking to Fulham's official club website, Parker said: “The league says what it says, and I understand that, but ultimately I realise that come Saturday it’s going to be difficult for us.

“It’s always a difficult place to go, Stoke; very, very tough with a good atmosphere. There are going to be times on Saturday where we might have to weather a storm, whether that’s at the start of the game, whether that’s after 15 minutes, or whatever it may be."

The Verdict

Obviously Parker isn't going to say they're rubbish, but I think deep down he knows that if his Fulham side perform with the attacking prowess that he knows they can, then they'll come away with three points from the Bet 365 stadium.

It should be a fascinating clash though, as Stoke did just come away from the Liberty Stadium with a morale boosting three points. If they can get another victory it will have really turned their season around.

Parker has to go out all guns blazing as an early goal could be so crucial in terms of the confidence of the opposition.
