Leeds United climbed back into the automatic promotion places on Tuesday night thanks to a narrow 1-0 win against Reading at Elland Road.

Stuart Dallas scored the only goal of the game in what was a tight match against one of the division's struggling sides, tapping home on the hour mark after a scramble in the Royals' area.

The Whites' nearly threw it all away in the final minute when Barry Douglas brought down Josh Sims in the penalty area, but Marc McNulty's penalty was saved well by Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

But there was another incident that caught the eye of Leeds fans and once again got the blood boiling.

Just over a minute after Peacock-Farrell had saved United from the spot, the home side should have had a penalty of their own.

With the ball destined to bounce out of play Reading defender Chris Gunter got a bit carried away and decided to punch the ball in frustration before it had crossed the line.

Nothing was given and when the footage spread on social media, the fans were predictably livid...
