Jack Grealish was a man at the centre of controversy at St. Andrew’s yesterday afternoon in Aston Villa’s win over Birmingham City.

The Villa captain was first attacked by a pitch invader in the first half before scoring what would turn out to be the winner after 67 minutes before running into the corner of away fans to celebrate.

Having done so, the attacker was kicked by what Villa Report are identifying as a steward, but on closer viewing, looks more like to be a photographer.

The man in question kicks Grealish while he is celebrating with Conor Hourihane and trying to get back over the LED boards and back to the pitch.

In the aftermath of this second incident involving Grealish, he was subsequently arrested and taken away by police patrolling the away end.

It was a pretty intense day for the 23-year-old Villa van who was visiting St. Andrew’s for the first time as a player, and he ended up having the last laugh with his side securing the three points.

With that said, here’s how the Villa supporters reacted to the video of the flashpoint with Grealish celebrating the goal with the fans.
