Former Nottingham Forest striker David Johnson has hit out at the club after the Reds’ disastrous start to the season.
Just so angry and disappointed how this club is ran. It’s embarrassing ( the whole board should of gone. ) they are a disgrace. Last time I said anything bad about the club. Gainnis called me. I’ll wait for his call I guess 🤬 as I was right the first time

The East Midlands outfit fell to a 2-1 defeat against Cardiff City yesterday, meaning they are bottom of the league having picked up just one point from their opening six fixtures.
That has unsurprisingly resulted in the pressure building on boss Chris Hughton but Johnson took to Twitter to hit out at the hierarchy at the City Ground.
“Just so angry and disappointed how this club is ran. It’s embarrassing ( the whole board should of gone. ) they are a disgrace. Last time I said anything bad about the club. Gainnis called me. I’ll wait for his call I guess as I was right the first time.”
As well as playing for Forest, Johnson still has a connection to the club now, as son Brennan has come through the academy and started on the wing in the defeat to the Bluebirds.
Were each of these 20 former Nottingham Forest players left or right footed?
For many fans, they were delighted to see the ex-player call out the board, whilst they also pleased to see that he still has a lot of passion for the Reds.
Here we look at some of the reaction to his tweet from supporters…
I think it's important people can see that things aren't right at #NFFC and changes need to be made.
In the immediacy that has to be Hughton. But beyond that, Vrentzos, Randall and Co are the ones who have led this club down the road we are on. They should walk with him.

The reality is they’ve been let off the hook and given a free pass so many times because they’re not Fawaz when in reality they’re no different to him except they actually pay their bills on time – that’s the only difference

Totally agree. Bought on alone isn’t the problem. The trouble at the club runs far deeper and needs sorting for us to get anywhere

Olympiacos matter more

The fact that you feel the need to say this, when your son is in the squad, says it all. The club is not in a good place. Gabriel hinted as much at his departure. I hope they listen to you 🙏 😔

Good to hear someone calling them out! The whole club is a joke
