Loads of Cardiff City fans have sent messages of support to attacking-midfielder Lee Tomlin after it was revealed that he had suffered a serious knee injury.

Wales Online reported that incident took place during training last week with the 31 year-old pulling up following a 40-yard sprint as part of a practice match.

Tomlin took to Twitter on Sunday to share a short message with fans:

Tomlin has been an integral member of Cardiff's set-up this season, netting seven goals in 24 league matches and assisting seven more as well.

His presence was certainly missed on Saturday as Neil Harris' side took a blow in their push for a place in the play-offs, with a Joe Allen strike and a Callum Paterson own goal enough to condemn them to defeat.

It left them sat in tenth place with six points but after Tomlin sent a message, many turned their attention back to the stricken creator...
