There’s been no movement at Leeds United when it comes to Pontus Jansson’s replacement, with Marcelo Bielsa currently having limited options at centre-back ahead of the new season.

Leeds moved Jansson out to Brentford earlier this month, leaving them with just Liam Cooper and Ben White as recognised centre-backs ahead of their clash with Bristol City. Gaetano Berardi, Luke Ayling and Kalvin Phillips can all step in, but the Whites are short of senior options.

According to Phil Hay, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Bielsa stick with his current options, with the former Yorkshire Evening Post chief indicating that the Argentine is a big fan of Brighton loanee, White.

White, 21, has senior experience out on loan with Newport and Peterborough, but is still raw.
