Leeds United may have seen their promotion pushed paused by the international break, but a contingent of their first-team have been in action nonetheless, trying to aid their respective countries to EURO 2020 qualification.

One such individual who has been getting game time is Bailey Peacock-Farrell who has seen first-team chances limited since the turn of the year.

But this week has taken on extra significance for Northern Ireland and himself as with Kiko Casilla’s red card against Sheffield United; the qualifiers could be seen as warm-up games for when the league resumes.

Peacock-Farrell should start in goal for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this weekend when they host Millwall and having not featured for the Whites since January 19; the international fixtures have been a godsend.

The Leeds stopper has been impressive in Northern Ireland’s last two games, being on the winning side against both Estonia and Belarus.

He has had some crucial saves and looked sharp, fresh and ready for the weekend.
