November was a busy month for League Two clubs as the 2020/21 campaign really clicked into gear.

We were treated to some stunning individual performances throughout the second last month of the year and the division's six in-form players have been named on the shortlist for the GMS Fans' League Two Player of the Month award for November.

Before you cast your vote, we've outlined exactly why each player has got the nod...

Scott Davies – Tranmere Rovers

Tranmere were in frightening form in November – winning all seven of their games in all competitions – and Davies was a key part of why.

The experienced shot-stopper kept clean sheets in three of Rovers' four League Two games last month, with all three of the goals he conceded coming as his side edged a seven-goal thriller.

Keith Hill's men are up in the top seven at the moment and if the 33-year-old can continue this form they may be able to climb even higher.

Ricardo Santos – Bolton

After a shaky start to life in the third tier, Ian Evatt's side showed their quality in November and they have a resolute defence to thank for that.

Santos has been the standout player in their backline over the past month, playing every minute and producing some dominant displays.

The centre-back made eight tackles and won 20 aerial duels as he helped the Trotters concede just twice and go unbeaten in November.

Jon Mellish – Carlisle United

After a relatively quiet first season at Carlisle, Mellish has looked a different animal for the Blues in 2020/21.

The defensive midfielder has been ever-present in the starting XI and proven his quality both defensively and in possession.

Mellish won 11 tackles and found the net three times for Carlisle in November, helping them climb the League Two table.

Ryan Bowman – Exeter City

The Grecians striker has had the bit between his teeth in November and his shooting boots firmly on.

Bowman has been prolific over the past month, scoring four times in four League Two games – including bagging a hat-trick against Colchester United.

After last season's disappointment, Matt Taylor's men will be pushing for promotion this term and the 29-year-old's recent form will boost those hopes.

Danny Johnson – Leyton Orient

November was quite some month for the Orient striker, who found the net four times in four games and inspired his side's late winning run.

Since joining from Dundee FC in January, Johnson has looked a quality marksman and we saw his full range last month as he seemed to be finding the net from any situation – breakaways, volleys, set pieces, and headers.

The 29-year-old is the latest striker to catch fire at Brisbane Road.

Jevani Brown – Colchester United

Some players go their whole career without scoring a hat-trick, Brown scored two in November.

The Colchester forward scored eight times last month, five of those coming in League One, and proved a near-constant nuisance for opposition defences.

We've know about Brown's pace and quality on the ball for some time but he's proven himself a truly clinical finisher and an aerial threat in November.
