Wolverhampton Wanderers’ summer transfer activity ensured the Black Country club were one of the firm favourites for promotion to the Premier League this season, and Nuno Espirito Santo’s men have duly delivered on their favourites tag, picking up ten points from their opening five games.

Despite a number of new foreign imports into the club, Santo’s men have looked settled, and the squad at Molineux is beginning to gel very quickly.

There are players in this Wolves team who should be in the Premier League, if not the Champions League, and the level of quality on offer is expected to be enough to comfortably secure a place in the top-six.

Strong performances across the park have aided Wolves rise, but one change Santo may consider making to his starting XI for this weekend’s visit of Millwall is bringing Ivan Cavaleiro into the side for Bright Enobakhare.

The Nigerian born teenager has started all of the club’s league fixtures so far, but has failed to reach the level of some of his team mates in recent weeks.

Cavaleiro was impressive for Wolves last season after joining from Monaco, and in only 17 starts, recorded 5 goals and 5 assists.

In four substitute appearances this term, Cavaleiro already has a goal and assist to his name, whereas his competition for the wide position has just the solitary assist to his name.

Santo will, rightly or wrongly, see the game at home to Millwall as one of the ‘easier’ fixtures of the season, and should perhaps consider giving Cavaleiro the nod against the Lions.

Wolves have dropped points in each of their last two games, so perhaps the time is right to make a change, and once Cavaleiro is in the side and impressing his new boys, it is hard to see him being dislodged.
