Watford fell to their second defeat of the season yesterday as they were beaten 1-0 at Barnsley.

A fantastic Alex Mowatt strike sealed the points for the hosts and whilst the Hornets had plenty of the ball and a lot of pressure, they didn't carve out too many clear chances.

Speaking to the club's media after the game, boss Vladimir Ivic made it clear that the team has to improve in all areas and he will want to see a response against Stoke City in the week.

Even though the new manager has had a good start to life in England, the recent results are slightly concerning, particularly with the approach the side have taken. Watford are struggling for goals and they haven't really convinced at all in the final third this season.
