Plenty of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Facebook to offer their thoughts on who would get into a 5-a-side team from the club’s existing crop of players.
The Reds, who opted to appoint Sabri Lamouchi as their new manager in June, have made an encouraging start to the 2019/20 campaign.
Although the Frenchman was unable to prevent Forest from suffering defeat on the opening day of the season to West Bromwich Albion, he then led the club on a 10-game unbeaten run in the league.
Whilst the Reds have experienced somewhat of a downturn in form in recent weeks, their victory over Luton Town last Saturday will give them some much-needed confidence heading into next weekend’s clash with arch-rivals Derby County.
Currently 10 places above Phillip Cocu’s side in the Championship standings, the Reds will be aiming to secure a third consecutive victory over the Rams when the two clubs meet at the City Ground.
If Forest are to prevail in this particular clash, Lamouchi may have to look towards some of his star performers for inspiration.
Whereas Brice Samba has been excellent in-between the sticks this season, the likes of Joe Lolley, Lewis Grabban and Ben Watson have all illustrated moments of brilliance in the second-tier.
Will Forest beat Derby in the East Midlands derby this weekend?
