Nottingham Forest supporters have been debating who they believe has been the Reds' best performing goalkeeper over the last decade, with fans suggesting the likes of Dorus De Vries, Lee Camp and Samba Sow as being standout candidates.

The Reds have been fortunate to have had some excellent performers for them between the sticks over the last ten years, with Forest starting the decade with Camp as the club's number one, and finishing it with Samba as the first choice keeper - although there have been a few keepers who did not quite perform as well with Vladimir Stojkovic an example of how it has not all been plain sailing in the goalkeeping department.

Camp was an ever-present during the first few years of the decade, playing in all but one of the Reds matches between the start of the 2009/10 season and the end of the 2011/12 campaign, in which time he offered a reliable presence in goal for Forest and pulled of a number of fine saves to keep his side in matches.

However, after failing to agree a new contract to extend his stay at the City Ground, he was allowed to leave the club midway through the 2012/13 season despite having been the club's first choice during the first half of that campaign, with the keeper going onto join Norwich City in January 2013.

Another keeper who has been mentioned amongst the best of the club's number ones this decade has been De Vries, mainly for his performances during the 2015/16 season, which saw him establish himself as the club's number one after Karl Darlow's departure for Newcastle United in the summer of 2015, and his consistent performances saw him claim the supporters Player of the Year award for that campaign.

A late, but very worthy, contender for Forest's best keeper of the decade is Samba, who has been in excellent form for the Reds this season since arriving at the City Ground in the summer, with the keeper offering a real commanding presence in goal for the Reds and the ability to make some excellent saves and command his box effectively.

Here then, we take a look at what Nottingham Forest supporters have been saying about who has been their best goalkeeper this decade...
